Eliken Properties Sells 1M-SF former Home Depot DC

Less than two years after Eliken Properties acquired the former Home Depot distribution center in Corsicana, TX, the New York owner turned around and sold the 1.4-million-square-foot property to Solo Cup/Dart Container. The property is perched on 139 acres, and is on 2200 South Business 45. The sales price was undisclosed, with the county assessment at $10.5 million.

Holmes Davis with Binsanger brokered the deal between buyer and seller. He also handled the transaction when Eliken acquired the asset in August 2016.

The new owner, Dart Container, is a global leader in producing single-use foodservice products, such as foam cups and containers. With the acquisition, the buyer ended up with 13,248 square feet of office space, with paved and lighted parking for 560 cars and 1,130 trailers. The property has rail access, courtesy of Union Pacific Railroad.
