Elevation Entertainment Plans First Reno Ground-Up Hotel-Casino in Decades

Elevation Plans First Reno Ground-Up Hotel-Casino in Decades

Elevation Entertainment, a San Diego-based development company, is planning the first ground-up hotel-casino project in Reno, NV since The Silver Legacy was built in 1995. According to the Reno Gazette Journal, the development, called Firecreek Crossing Resort-Casino, will be located on the corner of Kietzke Lane and South Virginia Street, and would include a public park, restaurants, food court and beer garden.

Elevation’s CEO called the project a potential game-changer for Reno, adding that there hasn’t been a new hotel-casino development in the city for decades, and appreciated Nevada’s pro-business approach. That being said, the project has not been approved by the city yet, and some pushback is expected.

If completed, Firecreek Crossing Resort-Casino will consist of a 249-room hotel, including 48 suites along with a 62,000-square-foot gaming floor that features 1,250 slot machines, over 40 table games and a sportsbook.
