Up to 1,000 new workers headed for Spectrum facility

El Paso New Home for 1,000 Spectrum Customer Service Jobs

Representatives at the new Spectrum facility will provide bilingual over-the-phone support for Spectrum TV, repair services, and customer self-installation assistance. The first of about 450 representatives began moving into the new El Paso location last week. The jobs will pay a minimum of $20 an hour.

The new facility is 60,000 square feet and is big enough to accommodate 1,000 new customer service jobs. The company representatives answer 32 million calls a year.

These new jobs build upon Spectrum’s existing El Paso workforce, which also includes sales representatives, retail store specialists and the local technicians who perform installation and service work in customers’ homes and businesses, as well as maintaining the company’s local broadband networks.

Spectrum employees receive comprehensive health benefits, and for 10 consecutive years, the company has absorbed the full annual cost increase of medical, dental and vision coverage.
