Eisenberg Foundation Rolls Out Reimagined Summer Fundraisers

In view of the COVID-19 situation, the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation (HEEF) has reimagined its summer fundraising events. Proceeds from both events will benefit the foundation’s two-pronged mission: to fund gastrointestinal (GI) cancer research, and to advance real estate education.

Coming up on June 26 will be a Virtual Wine Tasting, in which wine connoisseurs and novices alike from the Chicagoland area will join the Eisenberg Foundation for a virtual wine tasting experience from the comfort of home.

Kevin A. Ball, sommelier and CEO of In Grape Company, will be the online host. The wines themselves will be delivered to participants’ homes prior to the tastings, or participants may bring their own bottles.

On July 4, the Eisenberg Foundation’s Cancer Walk & 5K will welcome runners, walkers, bikers and movers to get active wherever they are, while respecting social distancing. HEEF has set a fundraising goal of $10,000 for this event.
