eHealth Opts for Indianapolis as Eastern U.S. Base

Rubenstein Partners and Indianapolis-based Strategic Capital Partners are bringing online health insurance exchange eHealth to their Lakefront at Keystone office campus in Indianapolis. eHealth is leasing 81,515 square feet of office space for an Eastern U.S. headquarters.

Initially, eHealth will sublease two floors of Lakefront 15, located at 9190 Priority Way West Dr., from current tenant Home Point Financial Corporation. The sublease, which runs through October 2022, will be followed by a direct, long-term arrangement for the entire 81,515-square-foot Lakefront 15.

“As eHealth expands its Medicare business, it made good sense to open facilities within the eastern time zone and in Indianapolis specifically,” said eHealth CEO Scott Flanders. “The city’s business environment is very attractive to technology-based companies like eHealth, given its start-up culture and rich pool of talented workers.”

JLL’s Tammy Faulk and John Robinson represented building ownership. NKF’s Matt Kiger advised eHealth.
