Edison Village Retail to Open This Year
The retail space at Edison Village is now on track to be completed by the end of 2017, in a massive redevelopment in West Orange, NJ.
“Following extended delays, driven by litigation and the Great Recession, we are pleased to be moving forward so quickly in completing what we first set out to do,” said Eugene Diaz, principal partner at Prism Capital Partners.
Construction has started at the site of the old Thomas Edison factory. The redevelopment will create 334 new rental apartment and 18,400 square feet of retail, with a supporting 630-space parking structure. Prism secured full approvals this fall for the project’s Phase II, which will incorporate 230 for-sale townhomes.
