Edina Realty Lists West St. Paul Bistro-Pub for Sale
Edina Realty, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, has listed a popular West St. Paul restaurant, FoodSmith Bistro-Pub, for sale to seek new ownership of the property. The commercial space is located at 973 Smith Ave. S in West St. Paul and is listed for $1.787 million by Edina’s Ed Hanlon and Melanie Hardacker.
This building had a full renovation in 2020. and is like new. The property also boasts a second kitchen which can be used for prep work, catering business or rental income to a food truck or food production operation.
The bistro-pub’s historic building is situated eight blocks from the Smith Avenue High Bridge and downtown St. Paul along a major thoroughfare. “The city of West St. Paul is business-friendly and is working on the strategic development of the Smith Avenue corridor, including the redevelopment of mixed-use boutique apartments and retail development across the street,” said Hardacker.
