Publix anchored Atlanta center sells for $28M

Edens Spins Off Atlanta Publix-Anchored Center

Retail center giant Edens has sold off a Publix-anchored retail center in Atlanta. InvenTrust Properties Corp. paid $28 million for Moores Mill Center, a 6-acre property that includes a 45,000-square-foot Publix and about 15,000 square feet of retail space. It is located at Moores Mill Road, Bolton Road and Marietta Boulevard. 

CBRE’s Chris Decoufle, Kevin Hurley and Matt Karempelis represented the seller and procured the buyer.

InvenTrust Properties acquires shopping centers across the Sunbelt and has nine existing Georgia properties, including Plaza Midtown, anchored by a Publix. The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports In 2017, InvenTrust paid almost $32 million for the urban center.

Edens is the owner and developer of a portfolio of more than 100 open-air retail and mixed-use shopping centers in high-growth markets throughout the United States.
