Equitable Commercial Realty (ECR), located in Austin, is moving down Interstate 35 to open office No. 2. Specifically, the full-service commercial real estate company is opening shop in San Antonio, with experienced broker Albert Vazquez heading up the location at 812 San Antonio St., in the city’s CBD. The company has leasing assignments for three local office properties, including the Aztec Theatre, at 201 E. Commerce, which offers 30,000 square feet of creative office space.

Before joining ECR, Vazquez was a junior partner with investment and development firm Redrock. He also worked with Cushman & Wakefield, Oxford Commercial. “I was drawn to the opportunity to be part of ECR because of their genuine commitment to enter this market and to have an impact on that growth,” he said.

According to a statement from ECR, the company is opening its second location because of “requirements from existing and new clients to San Antonio.”
