Economists Talk Industrial at Meeting in Riverside

Several economists from around the world have gathered in Riverside for the 35th International Symposium on Forecasting at the Riverside Convention Center, and the area’s industrial climate is a hot topic.

There are sessions at the meeting devoted to supply chains and logistics, which are key issues for the many warehouse and distribution centers located throughout the Inland Empire.

One economist from Ohio State University said that a major issue that could impact companies’ supply chains is a lack of truckers needed to help get products to and from warehouses.
