Eastvale Approves Wal-Mart Plans
May 5, 2017
The City of Eastvale, CA approved a new Wal-Mart-anchored supercenter at Eastvale Crossings. The 192,000-square-foot store will include a full grocery department, gas station and drive-through pharmacy on 25 acres at Limonite and Archibald avenues.
Eastvale Crossings is a 218,100-square-foot commercial retail center. The project also includes four additional parcels, slated for nearly 22,000 square feet of retail and restaurant users. The development timeline for the project has not been set.
Wal-Mart is expected to contribute $375,000 in annual sales tax revenue to the city’s general fund. During the development phase, 100 construction jobs are expected, along with 300 new retail jobs once the store opens.
