Eastern Union Founder Launches New Venture

Ira Zlotowitz, founder and president of Eastern Union, has launched The Ira Group, which seeks to educate the public about lending as a pathway for commercial real estate investment, thus helping individuals become actual lenders. Its target market includes both newcomers and those with prior commercial real estate lending experience.

“We are educating the public to the fact that investing in real estate is not the only way to benefit from commercial real estate,” said Zlotowitz, whose Eastern Union has provided $12 billion in debt and equity over the past three years. “You can also be a private lender.”

To introduce The Ira Group to the marketplace, Zlotowitz will host a 60-minute seminar, which will also be available as an interactive webinar. It will be presented live on May 29 in Lakewood, NJ, where Eastern Union is headquartered, and again on June 5 in Israel.
