Eastern Consolidated Founder Peter Hauspurg Passes Away, Age 67
Eastern Consolidated founder Peter Hauspurg died Tuesday at his home in Santa Monica, CA. Hauspurg was 67.
Hauspurg, who trained as a lawyer, co-founded Eastern Consolidated with partner and wife Daun Paris in 1981. He led the investment sales brokerage for nearly four decades until it closed its doors in 2018. Notable names who once worked there include Adelaide Polsinelli, Brian Ezratty, Ron Solarz, Lipa Lieberman and Abie Kassin.
After Eastern Consolidated closed, Hauspurg and Paris joined ABS Partners as senior members of the firm.
“Everybody at ABS loved Peter,” ABS president Gregg Schenker told Crain’s New York Business. “Peter brought many, many years of experience, expertise, know-how and relationships to the team.”
He sat on the boards of numerous New York organizations, including the Real Estate Board of New York, the New York City Board of Directors and the mortgage committee of the Manufacturers & Traders Trust Co.
