Eastern Bank Brings Brian Welch Back to the Fold as a SVP, CRE Division

Boston, MA-based Eastern Bank has re-hired Brian Welch as a SVP in the organization’s commercial real estate division.

Welch’s career spans roles in commercial real estate lending with a range of clients including public REITs, private equity funds and large middle market developers. He previously served as a credit analyst and a relationship manager with Eastern Bank’s commercial real estate group.

Prior to re-joining Eastern, Welch worked at HSBC Bank as SVP, team Leader, commercial real estate in Boston, MA, where he led a team responsible for the origination and management of a billion-dollar portfolio of institutional commercial real estate clients. He previously was a SVP at TD Bank, where he managed a multi-billion dollar portfolio of primarily institutional commercial real estate clients with a specific focus towards public REITS and private equity funds.
