East Village Apartments Trade to Overseas Buyer

The Tri-State Investment Sales group for Avison Young arranged the sale of 109 Ave. A, a recently renovated residential property in the East Village. The undisclosed buyer purchased the property for $20,750,000.

An Avison Young team led by Senior Director Brandon Polakoff represented the seller in the negotiations. The property offers a corner location with 121 feet of wraparound frontage.

“This latest sale is emblematic of both Avison Young’s superior market knowledge and the desire for premium assets in the East Village neighborhood,” said Polakoff.

He continued, “The property had been on the market for quite a while before we were tasked with finding the right purchaser. Within two weeks of engagement, we received an offer from a foreign buyer higher than the property had received, and we were able to quickly meet our client’s desired sale price.”

Connect New York 2020 is set to take place on Tuesday, April 29 at Upper Story by Charlie Palmer. For more information, or to register, click  here.
