Eagle Rock Properties Acquires $70M West Springfield MF Property

Plainview, New York-based Eagle Rock Properties has acquired the West Springfield Terrace apartment community in Springfield for $70.5 million.

The New York-based real estate firm which focuses primarily on rental apartment communities in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, bought the 244-unit, 1970s-era garden apartment complex at 8525 Burling Wood Drive on July 31, reported the Washington Business Journal.

The seller in the transaction was an affiliate of Norfolk-based Harbor Group International LLC. The 13.2-acre property is adjacent to Federal Realty Investment Trust’s Old Keene Mill Shopping Center and McCaffery Interests Inc.’s West Springfield Centers.
