Dweck Properties Steps up National Landing Redevelopment

Dweck Properties Ltd. is emerging as a competitor to JBG Smith Properties in the redevelopment of National Landing, Northern Virginia, reported by Washington Business Journal.

With nearly half of its 7,000 units in National Landing, Dweck has transformed from a major apartment owner and manager to an active, fully integrated developer, focusing on unlocking value on its sites through renovations and infill additions.

The company is actively consolidating in Northern Virginia, including Arlington and along the Virginia Railway Express corridor. Dweck believes in the potential of the Amazon HQ2 project and the related rail infrastructure improvements, making commuter rail-accessible properties more attractive to potential residents. The company is also competing with JBG Smith in the National Landing neighborhood, where they are involved in several development projects.
