Durst, Urban Atelier Top Out Astoria Mixed-Use Complex

The Durst Organization and Urban Atelier Group have topped out of the construction at 20 and 30 Halletts Point in Astoria, Queens.

This mixed-use complex comprises 647 units across two towers, with one rising 27 stories and the other 32 stories. The project, designed by Handel Architects, is part of a development on the waterfront, set to include a public waterfront esplanade and park, as well as retail spaces.

A 600-foot mural by local artist Zeehan Wazed was installed on the construction fencing in partnership with ArtBridge, offering an augmented reality experience titled “A City in Motion.” The Halletts Point development is a mixed-use, mixed-income project in partnership with NYCHA’s Astoria Houses, aiming to deliver 2,000 residential rental units.
