Durst Secures New Lease and Expansion at 1155 A of A
Francisco Partners has signed a six-year lease for 11,000 square feet on the 28th floor of the Durst Organization’s 1155 Ave. of the Americas. The global investment firm is moving their offices from the nearby Grace Building.
Simultaneously, Jenner & Block signed a 15-year lease for 5,600 square feet on the balance of the 28th floor. The law firm leased the four floors directly above last year and this expansion brings its footprint at the property to more than 72,000 square feet.
The leases follow a $130-million capital improvement program at the 38-year-old property. Francisco Partners was represented by Newmark’s Eric Cagner. Jenner & Block was represented by CBRE’s Lewis Miller and Jason Gorman and Zachary Weil.
The Durst Organization was represented in-house by EVP Tom Bow and SVP Rocco Romeo. Associate director Tanya Grimaldo also represented Durst on the Francisco Partners lease.
