Duo Selected to Support JLL Charlotte’s New Sustainability and ESG Business Line
JLL Charlotte has introduced a new business line dedicated to sustainability and ESG. Two new hires, John Thigpen as vice president and Meghan Wirtner as project manager, form a team that falls under the office’s existing project and development services division.
Thigpen will lead the sustainability team in the Carolinas region and will focus on helping clients target and achieve their ESG goals. He will be responsible for business development, client relationship management and project delivery with a focus on sustainability and ESG for a wide range of clients. In a previous role with JLL, Thigpen served as the energy and sustainability services manager. He also worked with the Natural Resources Defense Council.
Wirtner previously served as a project architect for Hennebery Eddy Architects, Inc. where she honed her skills in design and construction project management of complex sustainable facilities. She also worked at Green Hammer Design-Build as a project architect.
