Duke University, McKinney Sign Office Lease Extensions at ATC in Durham

Duke University and advertising agency McKinney have extended their office leases at American Tobacco Campus (ATC) in downtown Durham. Together, the two renewals total nearly 180,000 square feet at the 1.2 million-square-foot campus.

The property was transformed from a long-shuttered tobacco factory into a modernized mixed-use development in the early 2000’s.

Duke has occupied office space at ATC since 2003, and its new lease extends through April 2030. The university will house about 700 people, and occupy roughly 136,000 square feet of office space at ATC. McKinney has occupied roughly 43,000 square feet at ATC since 2004, and has extended its lease through 2031.
