Duke Moves Forward on Third Facility in Columbus Logistics Park

Indianapolis-based Duke Realty Corporation commenced construction on RGLP Rail 1661, a 673,920-square-foot warehouse in Rickenbacker Global Logistics Park, a 1,576-acre, multi-modal industrial development located south of Columbus, OH. The speculative building is situated on a 43-acre site adjacent to the Norfolk Southern rail line, and in close proximity to Rickenbacker Parkway, a Loaded-to-Capacity Zone, Norfolk Southern’s intermodal terminal, cargo-dedicated Rickenbacker International Airport, and major highways.

RGLP Rail 1661 is the third building developed by Duke Realty this year in the park through a partnership with Columbus Regional Airport Authority and Capitol Square, Ltd. The 192,031-square-foot RGLP Gateway 2950 delivered in July, and the 231,779-square-foot RGLP Gateway 2820 is slated for completion in November. Both buildings were preleased prior to the completion of construction.

Duke Realty’s Art Makris says, “Interest in Rickenbacker continues to be strong, as evidenced by the quick lease-up of our two recent buildings.”
