Duke Starts Spec 1.2M-SF Distribution Facility
Duke Realty Corporation broke ground on a 1,203,449-square-foot speculative development at 728 West Rider St. in Perris. The planned state-of-the-art distribution facility is slated for delivery in summer 2021.
The 55.2-acre site is strategically located with convenient access to the 215 freeway and other key interstate logistics connections. The Inland Empire East market facility is being built to LEED Silver standards. It will include 40-foot clear heights, level floors, 241 dock doors, 344 trailer stalls, 442 automobile parking spaces and four grade-level loading doors.
The project is Duke Realty’s eighth site in the Inland Empire East submarket. Duke Realty’s Nancy Shultz says, “Over the past eight years, Duke Realty has continued to grow its Southern California footprint with more than $1 billion in development starts — much of it accommodating tenants’ needs for large blocks of new distribution space.”
