Duke Developing 194K-SF BTS for Schilli in Savannah

Duke Realty Corporation executed a long-term lease agreement for a 194,120-square-foot, build-to-suit warehouse in Savannah, GA with Schilli Distribution Services, a logistics services provider specializing in flatbed and open-deck transportation. The building is being built on a 12.11-acre, rail-accessible parcel at 276 Jimmy Deloach Parkway.

Duke Realty’s Chris Brown notes the custom-designed, state-of-the-art facility “will serve as a core component in their logistics chain. This new facility will incorporate modern features and can be rail accessible, providing them with enhanced storage and distribution capabilities, as well as multiple transportation options.”

The site is east of I-95 and minutes from the Port of Savannah. The new facility will incorporate 32-foot clear heights, 43 dock doors and two drive-in doors. Delivery is expected in September 2019.

NKF’s (formerly Jackson Cooksey) Bob Luttrell and Ken Boyd represented the tenant, while the landlord was represented in-house by Brian Sutton.
