Duke Boosts Miami Industrial Logistics Center Occupancy to 93%

Duke Realty signed a 69,504-square-foot lease with Blue Water Shipping at Miami Industrial Logistics Center (MILC), a three-building, 676,835-square-foot industrial hub in Miami’s Hialeah Gardens submarket. The deal with the logistics and transport services provider brings the facility to 93% leased, just 18 months after Duke acquired the newly-constructed, completely vacant industrial development.

Duke Realty’s Stephanie Rodriguez says, “In choosing MILC, Blue Water Shipping will be operating in one of the newest and most functional distribution facilities in South Florida, plus have superior access to the Turnpike and I-75.”

All three buildings in the portfolio are modern, state-of-the-art facilities with 32-foot clear heights, 60-foot speed bays, large truck courts and ample automobile parking. Duke Realty acquired the property on the east side of Florida’s Turnpike at U.S. 27 in May 2017.

Cresa’s Patrick Willis represented the tenant.
