Due Diligence Veteran Barone Joins Partner

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. has added industry veteran Robert W. Barone as director, based in Partner’s White Plains, NY office. Barone is regarded as a key pioneer in the establishment of due diligence and construction risk management practices for commercial real estate.

Frank S. Romeo, Jr., Partner president, said, “Bob is one of the most prominent figures in our industry, well respected by peers and clients alike. He will be a tremendous tailwind to our successful construction services practice and a true asset to our company as a whole.”

As chair or co-chair for various ASTM International committees, Barone helped develop standards to shape how due diligence is performed for commercial real estate. During Barone’s tenure at IVI International (now CBRE Assessment & Consulting Services), he was instrumental in growing that firm from a six-person consultancy to a staff of more than 250.
