Dual-Flagged Hyatts Open at Houston Medical Center
A Houston real estate developer has announced the opening of two hotels, side-by-side, both branded Hyatt. Satya looked after the construction of a Hyatt Place and Hyatt House at the Houston Medical Center. The 350,000 square-foot hotel duo is the first dual-branded project the Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened in Texas. The two hotels will share up to 3,500 square feet of meeting space and a 24-hour fitness center.
The 14-story property will provide two different hotel experiences in one contiguous tower. Hyatt Place Houston Medical Center features 157 guestrooms equipped with a sleeper sofa and distinct zones for sleep, work and play. Hyatt House’s 141 apartment-style studio and one-bedroom suites are equipped with a stocked multipurpose kitchen island. Other offerings include:
- A restaurant, bar and lounge that serves cocktails, beer and wine with a menu offering of freshly prepared shareable bites and full entrée selections.
- Rooftop pool bar with cocktails and appetizers.
