Dual-Branded Hotel Planned at Park Central

Fayth Hospitality Group LLC is planning to develop a dual-branded Home2Suites/Tru by Hilton hotel on the site of the former Park Central Shopping City in Phoenix. The Dallas-headquartered developer is planning to break ground on the 207-key project in late 2020.

The five-story property will be situated on Central Avenue. Home2Suites amenities will include in-suite kitchens and free breakfast, while the Tru by Hilton extras will focus on semi-private workspaces, games rooms and a 24/7 market.

The hospitality development is part of the revitalization of Park Central, Phoenix’s first shopping mall. The 46-acre property, now owned by Plaza Cos. and Holualoa Cos., is being renovated into a mixed-use asset, which includes 450,000 square feet of creative office and retail space.
