Dryport Capital Picks Up 19 Acres for Truck Park

It’s not an uncommon site; semi-trucks pulled over just off an interstate, parked on the offramp to get some rest before the next long haul. They often risks getting a ticket, or worse, getting robbed. Dryport Capital says truck storage and parking is an overlooked segment of the real estate industry that stands to benefit from continued supply & demand imbalances.

The company just bought land for its fourth Truck Parking & Industrial Outdoor Storage facility, in Katy. The 19 acre site provides each driver with a 75×12 demarcated and numbered parking spot on a fully paved lot, LED lighting, private gate access, 100 foot wide drive aisle, razor wire and barbed wire security fencing, and security cameras as well as clean showers, restrooms and laundry.

The Riggy’s West 10 location is just .35 of a mile to I-10 and a mile from an Amazon Distribution Center, Costco Distribution Center, Goya and an Empire West Business Park. Groundbreaking is set for December, completion Q3 2023.
