Drunken Munkey to Open at 31 Cornelia St.

Drunken Munkey, a bar/restaurant inspired by colonial British India, will open its newest location at 31 Cornelia St. in Manhattan’s West Village neighborhood.

“This is an outstanding location for this concept and it’s where the legendary Mario Batali, opened his first restaurant Pó,” said James Famularo, senior director and principal with Eastern Consolidated, who with Ravi Idnani arranged the 800-square-foot, 12-year lease on behalf of the restaurant owners, MACC Hospitality partners Arun Mirchandani, Raju Mirchandani & Chirag.

“Although there were multiple offers for the retail space at 31 Cornelia Street, the landlord was impressed with the successful track record of Arun, Raju, and Chirag,” said Idnani.
