Drive-Thru Chick-fil-A Coming to Puyallup

Chick-fil-A is continuing to expand in the Pacific Northwest with plans to open a second location in Puyallup, Washington. The restaurant chain has filed development permit requests with Pierce County in March, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal.

Chick-fil-A is looking to replace the existing building of House of Kee, a family-owned Chinese restaurant, with a 2,700-square-foot building. The new location will be a drive-thru only site, which is reportedly the first of its kind in the South Sound region. The building permits do not specify when the construction will begin or the opening date.

Along with the Puyallup Chick-fil-A location, the company is also planning to open new locations in Bellevue and Bremerton. Other chicken chains have also recently entered Puget Sound’s quick-serve restaurant market, such as Super Chix, Big Chicken, Jollibee, and Raising Cane’s.
