For more retail transactions and trends, be sure to register for Connect Retail West at the Conga Room at LA Live on March 16th.
As retailers continue to innovate to keep brick-and-mortar stores afloat amongst an interminable wave of e-commerce, Kroger, the nation’s largest grocer, has initiated ClickList.
The service, which is mostly targeted towards parents, allows for customers to select from over 40,000 grocery items online, and pick up their order at the store, all without leaving the comfort of their car. Employees will deliver the groceries to your parked car for a fee of $4.95 on regular items, and a premium of $7.99 for expedited orders.
ClickList is available now, or will be soon, in Nashville and Murfreesburo, Tennessee; Atlanta, Georgia; Louisville, Kentucky; and Cincinnati, Ohio; as well as in central Virginia and central Indiana.
