Dreamscape Advancing Nashville Office Conversion

Since buying the Fifth Third Center office building at a deep discount in August, Dreamscape has been working to transform the 33-story building. The Atlanta Business Journal reports that Dreamscape bought the building for $55.25 million, a nearly 62% discount from its last sale in 2019.

Hastings Architecture was brought in to lead design, and J.E. Dunn to lead construction of the transformation, which will include plans to convert 490,000 square feet of office space into 489 hotel rooms.

The future hotel is slated to include an outdoor plaza with a bar and food concept, patio seating for a hotel restaurant, open public seating and more. Plans also include ground-level retail and restaurant space

The building’s anchor tenant, Fifth Third Bank, announced it was leaving the tower last year and is opening its new local headquarters in Germantown’s Neuhoff District this summer. Other tenants have already left or are leaving soon.
