Dozens of Top Restaurants to Highlight Hudson Yards
A stunning array of famous chefs and top restaurants are planning to open in Hudson Yards, the mega-development now under construction on Manhattan’s Far West Side.
“Exceptional dining experiences are extremely important in curating not only the restaurant collection, but the new neighborhood,” said Kenneth A. Himmel, restaurateur and president of Related Urban, the mixed-use division of Related Companies, which is developing its new 28-acre neighborhood with Oxford Properties Group.
“Restaurants are an integral part of the fabric of any neighborhood, and Hudson Yards – in concept, design and execution – will be an anchor and destination for Manhattan’s West Side,” said Chef Thomas Keller. Keller and Himmel are picking 25 restaurants for the development’s one-million-square-foot “Shops & Restaurants,” building, opening in late 2018, anchored by Neiman Marcus and designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects.
The restaurants include a modern brasserie by London’s leading restaurant group, D&D London, a new Spanish concept debuted by Chef José Andrés’ ThinkFoodGroup, and many others.
