Downtown Tacoma Office Building Sells to Owner-User

Lee & Associates has brokered the disposition of 1102 Commerce Street, located in Tacoma, Washington, on behalf of the firm’s client, Howe/Horizon Holding LLC.

The 24,131-square-foot building, situated in the heart of downtown Tacoma, sold for $3.25 million, or $134.68 per square foot. The buyer, Washington Trust Bank, intends to occupy a portion of the property and lease the balance, bringing new activity and tenancy to the downtown Tacoma market.

Lee & Associates Principals Tom Brown and Kyle Prosser collaborated with Carl Guenzel of Keimle Hagood’s Spokane office, where the buyer is headquartered, to complete the transaction.
“We are excited to see Washington Trust coming to town,” said Brown. The property is located in central downtown Tacoma at 11th Street and Broadway Avenue. The building is situated near shops, restaurants, and the Pacific Avenue corridor.
