Paclofts, a 20,000-square-foot creative office building featuring ground-floor retail, has sold to investor JCKL Partners for $7.4 million. Located in downtown San Diego at 701 Island Ave. in the East Village neighborhood, the four-story building was renovated in 2017 and 27% leased at time of sale.
From its address at the corner of 7th Ave and Island Ave, the building is adjacent to the Sempra Energy Headquarters and just a short city walk to Petco Park and the Gaslamp Quarter.
Avison Young’s Andrew Meyers represented JCKL Partners in the acquisition.
A San Diego-based Marcus & Millichap team of Nicholas Totah and Ross Sanchez represented the sellers, LA-based JS Western Retail Investments.
