Downtown Denver Apartment Building Trades for $110M

Carmel Partners bought The Fitzgerald at 1840 Market St. for $110 million. Greystar was the owner and developer of the 282-unit, 11-story building.

The mixed-use building with retail spaces on the ground floor opened in 2022. The purchase price equates to about $390,000 per unit.

The Denver Business Journal reports that in 2023, Greystar refinanced The Fitzgerald, securing a $99 million loan from Otera Capital. JLL helped arrange that loan.

The building includes studios, one- and two-bedroom units with an average size of 963 square feet. Amenities include a fitness studio, coworking spaces, a pool deck and spa and an outdoor social lounge with barbecues and firepits.
