Dow Under-Construction HQ On Block for $94M
Dow Chemical Co.’s brand-new, under-construction headquarters is on the market, at an asking price of $94.2 million. The Midland, MI-based campus is situated on 150 acres, and includes a 152,000-square-foot, Class A office building that is fully leased to Dow.
Rather than own the structure, the chemical giant would rather lease it, according to company officials. They add that leasing their properties is part of the company’s real estate strategy. “This approach helps provide financial flexibility for other strategic capital investments, and the Company leases properties at several of its sites around the world,” a company spokesperson said.
Stan Johnson Co. is marketing the property at 2030 Dow Court. The new corporate building is scheduled for completion by the end of next year.
