Dostart’s Spec Office TOD Lands 100K-SF Anchor

Boston-based Goodwin Procter LLP signed a more than 100,000-square-foot lease to anchor Dostart Development Co.’s Class A office complex currently under construction at 601 Marshall St. in Redwood City, CA. The fast-growing Global 50 law firm plans to take the top four floors of the eight-story building, and will be relocating and expanding from 58,800 square feet in Menlo Park.

The pre-certified LEED Platinum project is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. Located in the vibrant heart of downtown Redwood City, 601 Marshall’s 136,000 square feet of space is steps from the Caltrain Baby Bullet and includes a 2,700-square-foot outdoor terrace on the the fourth floor.

Savills Studley’s Steve Barker and Michael McCandless represented the tenant. Cushman & Wakefield’s Ben Paul and Mike Connor represented the Palo Alto-based developer.

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for Connect Creative. Dennis has also worked on communications and launch strategies for a number of consumer electronic, media and tech brands including SlingMedia, Channel Master, Deluxe Media Entertainment, BeIn Sports, EchoStar and Sprint. Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Off Madison Ave., Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private. He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements.
