Dollar Tree Taking Space at Former Party City

A new Dollar Tree store is scheduled to open in late April 2019 in space that once housed a Party City in Abilene, TX. The store, which will open in at the Frenchman’s Creek retail center, will represent the chain’s fourth retail outlet in the West Texas city. Frenchmen’s Creek is a close to 140,000-square-foot neighborhood center in south Abilene.

According to Paul Johnson with Paul Johnson & Associates, improvements to the space included new windows and HVAC, as well as additional interior work. The Party City shut down in mid-2018, and relocated to new space at The Shops at Abilene Village, 3536 S. Clack St.
