Dollar General Expands to 850K SF at Majestic, Tejon Ranch Facility
Tejon Ranch Co. and Majestic Realty Co. signed a lease with Dollar General for more than 240,000 square feet of warehouse space in a new building the partnership developed at Tejon Ranch Commerce Center. The new facility at 5337 Wheeler Ridge Rd. will support the discount retailer’s California operations.
Majestic Realty Co.’s Brett Tremaine notes Dollar General is “the inaugural tenant of the first building developed in partnership with Tejon Ranch Co.”
Dollar General currently operates out of a separate building at the project, and with the expansion, will be increasing its footprint by nearly 40% to more than 850,000 square. The company’s California distribution operations hub has been based at the property for the last six years.
The 1,450-acre master-planned commercial/industrial development is located at the junction of Interstate 5 and Highway 99, about an hour north of the Los Angeles basin.
