Dogs and Their Humans Get Pop-Up Retail
The realm of pop-up retail now extends to dogs and their humans. The Rudin Family, along with joint venture partner Eyal Ofer’s Global Holdings, has signed a lease with Human’s Best Friend, an immersive playground designed for dogs, for a two-month run at The Greenwich Lane condominiums at 15 Seventh Ave.
Upon entering the pop-up space, humans and their pets will be able to explore a series of curated environments. A product of experiential design firm LIVESIGHT, the pop-up will also feature adoptable dogs available for play in partnership with a dozen local rescue organizations.
“Our hope is that Human’s Best Friend will quickly become a must-see destination for canine lovers, visitors, and local residents,” said Michael Rudin, SVP of Rudin Management Company. “Our prime West Village location is an ideal spot to promote their mission.”
Human’s Best Friend was represented by Appear Here in negotiations, while Rudin represented ownership in-house.
