DMT Provides $41M for BK Apartment Building

Dwight Mortgage Trust (DMT), affiliated with Dwight Capital, has extended $41.2 million in bridge financing to Bruklyn Builders Inc. for Amnia, a recently completed 13-story high-rise in Downtown Brooklyn.

The property, finalized in November 2023, has 73 units ranging from studios to three bedrooms, offering amenities including a fitness center, game room, dog-run-equipped courtyard, and a rooftop lounge with Manhattan skyline views.

The building includes 22 affordable units, benefiting from long-term tax abatements aligned with the 421-a Affordable Housing New York Program. The loan will enable the refinancing of existing construction debt and furnish additional capital. Pinchas Vogel of Landstone Capital Group facilitated this transaction.
