DLR Group Adds Business Development Leader for K-12 Education Practice

Architecture firm DLR Group recently added Ellen Hanson as K-12 education business development leader in Chicago. In this role, she leads new business strategy and outreach and specializes in meeting the educational design needs for communities in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.

Hanson has more than 30 years of experience in the AEC industry. “Ellen brings an extended network to the firm,” said Leanne Meyer-Smith, K-12 education leader with DLR Group. “She has a wealth of experience in cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships that result in new business opportunities.” 

Hanson is currently a board member for the Women United/United Way of Chicago, a position she has held since 2017. She is also is a LEED Accredited Professional.

About Paul Bubny

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 16-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism.
