DLC Pays $36.6M for Charlotte Retail Center
DLC Management paid $36.6 million for Perimeter Woods, a 127,000 square foot retail center across from Northlake Mall in Charlotte. Kite Realty was the seller.
The Charlotte Business Journal reports the Kite Realty Group Trust (NYSE: KRG) took ownership of Perimeter Woods in 2014 after acquiring real estate investment trust Inland Diversified.
Perimeter Woods was part of a six-property acquisition by DLC, which owns and operates open-air shopping centers. The deal added more than 1.1 million square feet across five states to its portfolio. Those assets are 95% occupied.
DLC has nearly 100 open-air centers nationwide, comprising over 24 million square feet. That includes Pavilion at King’s Grant in Concord, a 303,212-square-foot property that is anchored by TJMaxx/HomeGoods, Total Wine & More and Ulta Beauty.
