DJM, Invesco Reveal Curated Retail Collective at Runway Playa Vista

Invesco Real Estate and DJM are bringing Free Market, a modern retail collective of curated brands, restaurants, and experiences, to Runway Playa Vista this September. The 21,000-square-foot Free Market Playa Vista space serves as a retail anchor that spotlights a variety of high-end pop-up and permanent shops, each curated to appeal to the digital-savvy, contemporary shopper.

DJM’s Stenn Parton says, “As retail continues to evolve, we’re working to bring only the most dynamic retailers and experiences to RUNWAY. Free Market is one of those progressive retailers; it merges traditional retail with an innovative marketplace format that enables leading brands to coexist and benefit from shared communal space, programming and integrated food and beverage.”

Permanent tenants signed on at the open format space include home retailer Alchemy Works; County Line Florals, actress Abigail Spencer’s debut flower shop and subscription service; personalized skincare brand HeyDay; and stationery company Urbanic Paper Boutique.

Food and beverage concepts will include Joliet, a new bar concept from renowned bar designer and curator Ben Adams, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, and Loqui, a popular Mexican eatery.
