Distribution Firm Crosses WI Border into Kenosha

Trifinity Specialized Distribution signed a long-term lease with Zilber Property Group (ZPG) to occupy 250,000 square feet at Zilber Industrial Ill in Kenosha, WI. The company is relocating from Illinois.

Lee & Associates of Illinois represented Trifinity, which tasked the brokerage’s Thomas M. Boyle in early 2019 with finding potential new facility locations. Michael Kleber, director of industrial leasing for ZPG, and NKF’s Sergio Chapa and Michael Prost represented ZPG in the transaction.

“Leaving Illinois was not an easy decision for us,” said Trifinity CEO Thomas Merlo. “The Merlo family, starting with my grandfather, who immigrated to the U.S. from Sicily, has been in business in Illinois for over 90 years.”

However, he added that after an extensive search, a meeting with Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian sealed the Wisconsin relocation. Trifinity currently has approximately 50 employees, all of whom will be joining the company in the new Kenosha facility.

Connect Industrial Midwest is coming to Rosemont, IL on March 4. For more information, or to register, click here.
