Diptyque Signs Full-Floor Lease in North American Headquarters Move
George Comfort & Sons and building owner Wohio Holding Inc. announced a new lease agreement with Diptyque at 16 East 34th St., a newly renovated office and retail building located between Madison and Fifth Avenues in Murray Hill.
Diptyque will occupy 18,017 square feet in a full-floor lease for its North American headquarters. As part of a 10-year lease, the global luxury brand, known for its perfumes, skincare and home decor, will more than double its current 8,097-square-foot footprint when it moves from 240-246 West 35th Street in the first quarter of 2027.
“As a brand defined by style and luxury, Diptyque’s decision to make 16 East 34th Street its North American headquarters speaks to the tower’s high-end design and hands-on management and service,” said GC&S Peter Duncan. “The reimagined lobby and inspiring roof deck are valued enhancements that continue to draw the city’s top companies.”
Ownership was represented in the lease transaction by George Comfort & Sons’ Duncan, Alexander Bermingham and James Donaldson. Diptyque was represented by Laurence Carroll of Cushman & Wakefield.
