Digital Marketing Firm Expands for 3rd Time at 55 W. Monroe

Walker Sands Communications has expanded its footprint at John Hancock Real Estate’s 55 W. Monroe. The new lease for 22,000 square feet marks the third time the PR agency and digital marketing firm has expanded since moving its Chicago headquarters from the West Loop in 2014.

JLL’s Andy Strand and Deanna Becker represented Walker Sands. The property’s leasing agent is Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrea Saewitz.

“This lease renewal and expansion illustrates Chicago’s position and competitive strength as a top tech market, which has helped drive the growth of companies like Walker Sands,” said Strand. The firm occupied 10,000 square feet and employed 45 people upon moving to 55 W. Monroe, and has more than doubled its headcount to 110 employees since then.

Walker Sands’ growth has been highlighted by several accolades for PR and digital marketing work, including being named to Chicago Inno’s 50 on Fire list in September.
