Dicks takes over Bed Bath and Beyond store in Denver

DICK’S Takes Over Denver Retail Building

The vacant buildings left behind following the demise of Bed Bath & Beyond are starting to fill up. DICK’S Sporting Goods Inc. signed a new 44,997-square-foot lease at 370 S. Colorado Blvd, Glendale, at the edge of Denver city limits. Bed Bath & Beyond left the location after declaring bankruptcy in April of 2023.

The Glendale location will be DICK’S 11th location in the Denver metro and closest to downtown.

The Denver Business Journal reports the lease ranked as one of the Denver-metro area’s largest retail deals of the second quarter. DICK’S Sporting Goods recently reported fourth quarter and full year 2023 results; delivering its largest sales quarter in company history.
